What to Do in a Dental Emergency?

In the event of a dental emergency, it is crucial to contact Bay of Isles Dental Clinic as soon as possible. As experienced emergency dentists in Esperance, Western Australia, we prioritize your care and well-being, and our flexible schedule allows us to accommodate urgent dental treatments.

Whether you’ve had a fall resulting in a broken tooth, suffered a tooth knocked out during sports, or are experiencing severe pain, our team is here to provide you with immediate attention and comfort during your emergency dental appointment.

Common Dental Emergencies We Handle:
Root Canal Treatments:

If you require a root canal treatment to save an infected tooth, we understand the urgency. While over-the-counter painkillers can temporarily reduce pain and inflammation, we recommend visiting our clinic in Esperance, Western Australia, as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis and begin necessary treatment.

Lost Teeth/Trauma:

In case of accidents leading to a knocked-out or broken tooth, time is of the essence. If a tooth is knocked out, handle it by the crown (top part) and gently rinse it in milk to remove dirt without scrubbing. If possible, place the clean tooth back in the socket or store it in milk while coming to our clinic. It’s essential not to let the tooth dry out, and if storing in milk is not possible, keep it in the mouth between the cheek and teeth.

Extractions:

Severe pain, infection, bleeding, or any urgent need for tooth removal requires immediate attention. Contact us for an emergency dental appointment to alleviate your discomfort as soon as possible.

At Bay of Isles Dental Clinic, your dental health is our priority, and we are dedicated to providing you with timely and professional care during any dental emergency. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you experience a dental emergency – we are here to assist you!
